ACTION ALERT: House Expected to Consider HJR 59 a Joint Resolution of Disapproval of EPA’s WOTUS Rule

The United States House of Representatives is expected to vote early next week on a resolution disapproving EPA’s waters of the US (WOTUS) rule. We expect this legislation, H.J. Res. 59, to come to the House floor for a vote as early as Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week. It is important to contact House members and urge them to vote in favor of  HJRes. 59.

House Joint Resolution 59, introduced by Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) with 68 cosponsors, provides for Congressional disapproval of the WOTUS rule under the provisions of the Congressional Review Act.  A strong, bipartisan vote in the House will help us in continuing legislative and legal efforts to halt EPA’s overreach.
