The following link, I hope, will open a lot of eyes as to what is happening in the industry. You may not ever raise one CWD susceptible species but this government overreach and direct assault by the Humane Society of the United States which has infiltrated USDA is not just about the deer, elk, sika or red deer industry it is about private property rights.
This assault by our government, attempting to push the agenda of animal rights activists through over regulation is something that should not and cannot be allowed to happen in this country. Tom and Rhonda Brakke’s case is the first battle that will set future precedent of things to come if the members of our industry do not draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough.
