My 6 year term as Commissioner for Exotic Livestock and Fowl for the Texas Animal Health Commission has expired. Governor Perry has appointed your Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tommy Oates, as your new Commissioner. You could not be in better hands! He will represent your interests well and serve us, individually and as an Industry, to the best of his ability.
The past 6 years have been challenging for us as an Industry and the next 6 promise to be even more so. I have no doubt that Tommy is up to the task.
It has been a great honor to represent you and I know your new Commissioner feels the same, It has been a great ride!
