To all EWA members: There have been 2 ranches (Vic’s Ranch and the Little V Ranch) in Harper, Texas over the past 2 weeks that have had their 8 foot fences cut from top to bottom in 4-6 places. No animals were taken. The fences were tied back in an effort to let the animals out. Both ranch’s fences were cut on a Friday night.
Your association is recommending that all ranchers, regardless of where your property is located be vigilant for any suspicious activity. You can protect yourself by putting game cameras up, signs, etc to try and warn off potential trouble makers. Also there are rewards being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
